Information we collect
- Your name, phone number and email address when you contact us
- Vehicle details such as make, model, registration and damage description
- Photographs of vehicle damage that you send us
- Insurance and claim details where a repair is handled through an insurer
- Records of repairs, estimates and invoices
How we use your information
- To prepare estimates and carry out repair work
- To contact you about your enquiry, booking or vehicle
- To liaise with your insurer, broker or accident management company where relevant
- To keep accounting, warranty and repair records as required by law
Lawful basis
We process your information to perform a contract with you (your repair), to comply with legal obligations (such as tax and record keeping), and on the basis of our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and managing our business.
Sharing your information
We only share information where necessary to complete your repair — for example with your insurer or their engineer, parts suppliers, paint suppliers, and the estimating and workflow systems we use (including Audatex and AutoFlow). We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are usually deleted within 12 months. Repair, invoice and warranty records are kept for at least six years to meet legal and accounting requirements.
Your rights
You have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have inaccurate information corrected, to request deletion where we no longer need it, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details above.
You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you are unhappy with how we have handled your information.
