Repair service
Accident repair centre near Heathrow
Insurance and private collision repair, carried out to approved repair methods.
Collision damage affects more than appearance. Modern vehicles are built with crumple zones, bonded panels and high-strength steels, so a safe repair depends on correct assessment and correct method — not guesswork.
We repair light knocks through to significant structural damage for private customers, insurance work, fleets and dealerships across Heathrow, Harlington, Hayes and wider West London.

BS10125 certified and an RAC Approved Repairer.

How we approach a collision repair
Every accident repair starts with a proper look at the vehicle rather than a quick glance at the visible panel. Hidden damage behind bumpers, around mounts and inside crumple zones is common after even a moderate knock, so we assess the car fully and record what we find in a digital Audatex estimate. That estimate forms the basis of the repair, whether you are claiming through an insurer or paying privately.
Where panels can be safely repaired they are reshaped and refinished. Where they cannot, they are replaced to manufacturer method, with structural and jig-based straightening carried out if the shell needs it. Paint is colour matched and blended into surrounding panels, and the car is inspected before it goes back to you.
Insurance or private, the standard is the same
Our work is carried out to BS10125 standards and we are an RAC Approved Repairer, whether the job is an insurance claim or paid privately. You have the right to choose your own repairer. If you are unsure whether to claim, we can estimate both ways so you can weigh the cost against your excess. Estimates are free and there is no obligation.

Frequently asked questions
- Do I have to use the accident repair centre my insurer suggests?
- No. You have the right to choose your own repairer. Tell your insurer you would like the work carried out by Straight Line Auto Repairs Ltd and we will take it from there.
- Can I pay for an accident repair privately instead of claiming?
- Yes. We carry out both insurance and private accident repairs. If you are unsure which is better, we can estimate both ways so you can compare the repair against your excess.
- What happens first when I bring in an accident-damaged car?
- We assess the whole vehicle, not just the panel you can see, and record the damage in a digital estimate. That estimate is what the insurer or you approve before any work begins.
- Will hidden damage be found?
- We look behind bumpers, around mounts and in the crumple zones during the assessment, because a moderate knock often causes damage that is not visible from outside.
- How do I get an accident repair estimate?
- Call us, send photos on WhatsApp with your make, model and location, or use the quote form. Estimates are free with no obligation, and larger damage can be inspected at our Harlington workshop.
